Welcome To Creature Comforts!

As our first official blog post on the website, we would like to explain a little about ourselves, our philosophy, and our methods.

Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital is locally owned and operated by Dr. Sarah Stanley. She grew up in Columbia and graduated from Spring Valley High School before going to college at Clemson University and finally vet school at The University of Georgia. She spent 4 years practicing in Atlanta, GA before returning home to build this clinic.

Sarah Goodrich and Katie Solar are our veterinary assistants. They are joined by Leanne Fishburne and Brady Thompson as our receptionists. We all look forward to meeting you!

We believe that how you treat people matters. We believe that if we treat our clients and patients with the care, respect, and attention they deserve; we can make a better veterinary industry. We are not interested in running unnecessary tests or prescribing needless medications. Our only concern is giving our clients and patients the careful, personalized care they need. In short, our philosophy is that we want to treat everyone as if they are our own family.

Here at Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital, we want to make sure that our clients are comfortable with our methods every step of the way. We are happy to provide estimates at the time of your visit and discuss why we are recommending these services. Our physical exams are done in the exam room with our clients so that we can answer questions as they come up. We also offer a Live Camera to our treatment area so that patients are never out of our client's sight. After everything is done, we take the time to discuss our findings and plan.
